Safdar Akhtar has served the Critical Infrastructure industry in various capacities for 30+ years. Currently, he serves as the Business Development Director for Forcepoint’s Global Critical Infrastructure growth where his duties also include educating and consulting Fortune 50 corporations Cyber Security Infrastructure . His extensive Cyber Security background and experience has evolved across many sectors especially Industrial Control Systems Automation, Monitoring, and Surveillance. Prior to Forcepoint, he served in varying senior leadership and engineering roles including Director of Enterprise Cyber Security for Honeywell, Process Solutions, Glimmerglass Optical Cybersecurity, BioBlitz, Ciena telecom and Quester technology. Some of his professional certifications includes CISA, CISM, Certified Ethical Hacker, PMP, PRINCE2 and many others.
